Here are some fast strategies on bed bug prevention to make certain your hotel living areas, does not have a bed bug problem.! Go online and review hotels you are staying at by scouring the Internet. Keep in mind that a communication about one hotel does not mean the issue wasn’t isolated to one room, or that hotel management hasn’t since exterminated the bugs.

* Check for minuscule black spots ( smaller than the dimensions of poppy seeds ) behind the headboard, translucent skins or tangible bedbugs. Bed bug spots (fecal matter) are dark brown to black in color and stick to the surface. If it falls off, then it isn’t a bed bug spot. You may take a wet towel and wipe the spot to work out if it smears and if this is so then it may be fecal matter.

* Thoroughly check beside tables or any other furniture or fixtures close to the bed. Bedbugs are not happy with the light, so they’ll be hidden in areas that are often dark or have awfully low light.

* Shed Skins are Signals – As the bed bug develops, it sheds skin, which looks like the bug. Also look for minuscule white eggs (like rice) along the edge of the mattress.
